  •  ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT APPOINTMENT   November 15, 2007

Medical Mercy Canada is pleased to announce that Patricia (Pattie) Hantzsch has accepted the position of Administrative Assistant to the Board of Directors, effective November 15, 2007.  In this capacity, Pattie will be responsible for all administrative activities including setting up a central MMC office at the warehouse location (4510 – 14th Street N.E.), regulatory liaison and reporting, and events planning. It is anticipated that she will understudy the Executive Director’s functions and assist with a number of growth oriented initiatives. Initially, she will report directly to Mr. Ihor Mazuryk, Executive Director.

Mrs. Hantzsch brings a wealth of experience to MMC. She has fifteen years of banking experience with CIBC, has held the position of Chairperson (2005 – 2007) and is currently the Business Director for Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Ensemble, Calgary’s premiere Ukrainian dance group, serves on the council of Assumption Ukrainian Catholic Church, and is a member of the Ukrainian Canadian Professional & Business Association of Calgary.  She has also contributed to the success of several other charitable organizations.  The Board welcomes Pattie to her new role with MMC.

MMC also expresses thanks and gratitude to Mylaine Tsaprailis for the tremendous dedication, work and contribution of effort and personal time to the benefit of the organization.  Mylaine is leaving due to time demands within her personal and business activities, but will continue to be an active member of MMC.  On behalf of the Board, we extend best wishes for her future endeavours.

    Stanley W. Odut

    President
