Cristine Wells began with Medical Mercy Canada in 2015.
Cristine became involved with MMC after travelling on a yoga trip in 2011 to Nepal, she became more aware of the challenges that exist in a third world country in regards to health care, education and human rights. A few months after her return, she met Trevor Ironside at her place of work and became aware of the valuable projects that MMC supported. She first started volunteering by teaching art classes with the proceeds going to MMC.
Cristine values that MMC has a huge commitment to helping the underprivileged in some of the most vulnerable regions in the world. She respects that the philosophy is really about impacting not just the quality of an individual’s life, but about making an impact for future generations.
