Elaine and Dr. Myron Semkuley - International Operations Directors and Founders
Elaine and Dr. Myron Semkuley started humanitarian foreign missions in 1992. In 1998 they founded Medical Mercy Canada, which became a registered charity in 1999, to enable their work to grow & encourage donations by issuing tax receipts.
Elaine and Dr. Myron are the founding members of MMC.
Elaine and Dr. Myron value that MMC strives to enable marginalized, forgotten, oppressed peoples to achieve and experience their basic human rights.

They feel their greatest accomplishment with MMC is that they have attracted many fine people with compassionate ideals to increase the humanitarian service of MMC in forgotten & ignored areas of need.
Burmese refugees on the Thai-Burma and India-Burma border are now able to teach human rights and give better health care services to their people thanks to MMC training programs.
Ukrainian Health Care Centres, Child Care Centres, Schools, and Geriatric Care Centres in many remote villages are now safe, dry, warm, with running water & indoor toilets thanks to MMC's support.
Nepalese people enjoy better human rights due to MMC training programs & improved sanitary conditions in remote villages.
They are currently the country managers of Burma and Thailand.
