A Special Request to Join Hands with us at Medical Mercy Canada in Support of Gaige Children’s Education Program in Nepal
Universal childhood education in Canada is something that we simply take for granted.
Our children go to school.
There is no question.
In developing countries like Nepal, although access to education is slowly improving, far too many children still have insurmountable challenges to gaining even basic skills of reading and writing. That’s true for both girls and boys – but when a choice has to be made, a girl is a second choice.
If you live in the remote sectors of this tiny Himalayan country – your opportunities are even less. Medical Mercy Canada has a special education fund that helps out some of these educationally deprived children. We’ll never be able to help all whom we would like to support but with your help and others like you – we can help some children from disadvantaged families, gain the knowledge and skills they will need for future success.
Additional information regarding project support will be provided in the Registration Package for all participants.
