Recruiter

​The Recruiters are key players in MMC’s operations. They coordinate with various departments to ensure volunteer needs are met and recruit new volunteers when needed.

Description
The Recruiters will assist with recruiting new volunteers and maintaining current volunteers. They will directly contribute to Medical Mercy Canada’s impact on impoverished countries by increasing the amount of volunteers offering their time and services. They will report directly to the Volunteer Director and will work closely with other volunteer teams.

Duties and Responsibilities
The Recruiters will be responsible for:
  • Assisting with all volunteer stewardship, renewal, and recognition activities
  • Coordinating and following up on volunteer mailing and campaigns, as well as
    donor requests
  • Identifying and approaching potential corporate volunteer partners
  • Helping to increase communications with supporters, volunteers, and donors
  • Implementing and enhancing the volunteer recognition program

Recommended Qualifications
  • Recruitment experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with new people and organizations
  • Works well independently and as a part of the team
  • Able to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • High energy levels, flexible, and possess a pleasant persona

This position requires a time commitment of six to twelve hours per month.
