Trevor Ironside

​Trevor Ironside grew up on a small farm near Midale Saskatchewan. He was educated at SAIT and University of Calgary with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Trevor has also taken the first two levels in the CFA program. He has worked for over 3 decades as professional engineer with technical expertise in oilsands, caverns, horizontal wells and exploratory drilling for Shell Canada, BP, and MEG Energy.

As a retired engineer, he is now president of Medical Mercy Canada Society. Medical Mercy is a compassionate global group, reaching out to 8 impoverished countries, with clinics, classrooms and community projects. Trevor is a founder and champion of the Karuna Girls College in Lumbini, Nepal. The Karuna Girls College enrolls over 200 teenage girls to challenge global issues of: cultural female repression, overpopulation, hygiene, nutrition and social conscience; one girl, one day at a time.

Trevor has served for several organizations including: West Island College (WIC), The Society Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Calgary Outdoor Sign Association (COSA), Association Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

​Trevor is a founder and director of many small businesses, partnerships and trusts including: Atlas Resources Inc., Forerunner Resources Inc., Envision Auto Corp., Liquor Barn Trust, SVR Acquisitions, Peacock Capital, Emerging Partners, Bold Signs, etc.
