Walter Chayka is a retired oil industry executive with a strong desire to use his over 50 years of business acumen to serve in charitable and service club organizations. He has served on the Board in several roles since inception of MMC as a registered charity in 1999. Walter holds a B.Comm (1956) degree from the University of Saskatchewan and has resided in Calgary for 47 years. His key area of interest are governance, building organizational capacity and sustainability, and the Oksana fund. He has served on the board for several charitable organizations including Calgary Parks Foundation, and Learning Disabilities Association of Calgary.
